The pattern is written in US terminology.
What is needed:
- fingering weight (weight 2) yarn
- crochet hook (size 3 mm)
- darning needle
- stitch markers
- scissors
- measuring tape
The pattern is written for 4 sizes:
XS/S
M/L
XL/XXL
3X/4X
The cardigan is meant to be slightly oversized for the smaller size of the two and a fit for the larger size. The beige cardigan in product pictures is size M/L; the black cardigan is XL/XXL.
I recommend using cotton yarn. Yarn usage is about 350g for size M/L and 430g for size XL/XXL.
Gauge is written in the pattern and it is recommended to first crochet a gauge swatch.
The pattern is meant for intermediate and advanced crocheters. There will be detailed explanations and lots of pictures to guide you, but the pattern is definitely not for beginners. Note that there also will be stitch counts at the beginning of the pattern, but most of the pattern do not have stitch counts. If you rely on stitch counts, then this pattern is not for you.
